How to Set Alerts Step by Step

The Market Oracle toolkit allows traders to set alerts for multiple events, including but not limited to:

  • Buy Signals + Strong Buy
  • Sell Signals + Strong Sell
  • Take Profits
  • Reversal Signals
  • Candlestick patterns
  • Reactor
  • Trend Assistant

Using the built-in alert functionality in TradingView, you can set alerts by following these steps:

Step 1 - Select Alert Conditions and Timeframe

First, navigate to the timeframe and chart where you want to set alerts. For example, if you want to set alerts on the BTCUSD 4-hours chart, open this chart.

Next, open the settings for the indicator by double-clicking on a signal label or clicking the gear icon in the top-right corner. Scroll to the bottom of the settings.

Want to set more alerts or edit an alert?

TradingView alerts remember the settings used at the time of creation. To set another alert, change the chart and settings, then repeat this process. This will not override your existing alerts. To edit an alert and its settings, you will need to delete the old one and recreate it.
